The WS800 is a compact weather sensor from the WS product family of professional intelligent sensors with a digital interface for environmental applications. The WS800 features a ventilated radiation shield for measuring air temperature and relative humidity. Using the 2.4 GHz radar sensor, the WS800 can determine precipitation intensity, type, and amount. Global radiation is determined using a silicon diode. Furthermore, the following parameters are measured: lightning detection, air pressure, wind direction, and wind speed. An external temperature sensor can be connected.
