Standard measuring device for precise humidity and air temperature measurements. Particularly suitable as a standard device for adjusting and checking other humidity meters. The thermometers' double radiation shielding greatly reduces the influence of radiation. An aspirator ventilates both thermometer vessels at the required minimum air velocity of 2 m/s. The constant ventilation of the thermometers enables a precise determination of the temperature difference (psychrometric difference) between a dry and a wet thermometer. Common humidity parameters can be derived mathematically from the psychrometric difference. Precision thermometers according to DIN 58 661 are used for temperature determination.
