Replacement recording strips for the Campbell-Stockes sunshine autographs from Lambrecht are available. Device numbers: 96c and 96d. A yearly set is always offered for all seasons. The paper strip has a printed hourly scale, allowing the duration of sunshine to be read from the burned-in track. Since the altitude of the sun varies throughout the year, different recording strips are clamped in different positions depending on the season: the longest strip in the lowest guide groove for summer, the shortest at the top for winter. The strip is changed daily after sunset.
