Replacement writing strips for the sunshine autographs according to Campbell Stockes from Fuess are available. Device numbers: 96c and 96d. A yearly set is always offered for all seasons. One year = 375 writing strips (90 for spring and fall, 145 for summer, 140 for winter).
The paper strip has an hourly scale printed on it, allowing the duration of sunshine to be read from the burned-in track. Since the altitude of the sun varies throughout the year, different recording strips are clamped in different positions depending on the season: the longest strip in the lowest guide groove for summer, the shortest at the top for winter. The strip is changed daily after sunset.
