A thermohygrograph (also thermohygrograph) is a combined recording device for simultaneously measuring and recording air temperature and relative humidity over a specific period of time. The individual devices are the thermograph and the hygrograph. Thermohygrographs are primarily used in meteorology as part of weather stations, but are also used in museums, building services, warehousing and transportation, and construction (e.g., building repair and waterproofing). A meteorograph is an extension of a barograph.
Classic models are drum recorders with bimetal, natural hair, and a mechanical or electronic clockwork. The drum can have a rotation period of one, seven, 14, or 31 days. The measured values are recorded as measurement curves on paper.
