Designed for demanding meteorological applications, the BPS-800 is housed in a robust aluminum casing and equipped with multiple digital interfaces. It delivers precise barometric pressure readings and long-term average data. Thanks to its extremely energy-efficient operating modes and comprehensive protocol support, the BPS-800 integrates seamlessly into weather stations, climate research systems, and environmental monitoring networks.
For enhanced functionality, the BPS-800 can be equipped with an optional 7-inch display.
It can be equipped with a touchscreen display, transforming it into a fully featured station barometer. This advanced configuration offers intuitive local operation, graphical representation of pressure trends, display of historical data, and real-time meteorological information directly on the device. The integrated trend analysis allows users to monitor changes in air pressure and recognize weather developments at a glance, making the system ideal for professional use.

The BPS-800 is more than a precise pressure sensor – it is a triple-secured measuring instrument. Its compact housing three fully integrated pressure sensors In parallel. Your data is processed, compared and averaged internally to deliver stable, reliable values with high reproducibility – even under extreme conditions.

Calibrated at the origin of physics
Each BPS-800 is not simply software-based or calibrated to factory standards – but rather on an electronic Mercury barometer, the physical pressure reference system par excellence. In this process 32 individual pressure points per sensor (i.e., 96 measuring points per unit) checked and adjusted.
Other manufacturers save themselves this effort. We define it as standard.
Energy efficiency at the highest level
The BPS-800 was designed for self-sufficient systems:
- <20 µA in sleep mode
- 3 mA during active continuous measurement
- Dynamic power-saving functions automatically detect the operating mode (polling vs. streaming).
This makes the sensor perfectly suited for:

- Environmental measurement systems in the field
- Battery-powered long-term applications

The BPS-800 has four digital interfaces, which cover all common industrial protocols. This allows it to be seamlessly integrate into existing systems, whether it's a weather station, environmental monitoring network or mobile research unit.
