Description:
The WS510 is a specific weather sensor for determining the efficiency of PV systems according to IEC 61724. The WS510 has a digital interface for environmental applications. The weather sensor measures air temperature, relative humidity, global radiation, air pressure, wind direction, and wind speed. Relative humidity is recorded using a capacitive sensor element, and air temperature using a precise NTC measuring element. A Class A CMP10 pyranometer according to ISO 9060:2018 is used for radiation measurement. Wind measurement is performed using ultrasonic sensors. The measured data output supports the following protocols: UMB-Binary, UMB-ASCII, SDI-12, and MODBUS. An external panel temperature or precipitation sensor can be connected.
