Pyranometers are sensors for measuring global radiation and/or diffuse sky radiation. The CMP6 pyranometer has a spectral range of 285 to 2800 nm. The CMP6 pyranometer is more powerful thanks to its higher thermal mass and double glass dome. It is recommended for measurements in hydrological networks and in agriculture, as well as in solar power systems.
The CMP6 pyranometer complies with the requirements of ISO 9060 and IEC 60904, as well as the WMO guidelines and the WMO "First Class" classification. The CMP6 comes standard with a level, corresponding adjustment screws, and a 10 m plug-in cable. It is individually calibrated and delivered with a calibration certificate.
Due to its measurement principle, the pyranometer does not require a power supply. It provides an output signal of 0 to 20 mV, proportional to the incoming radiation. If a larger voltage output signal or a 4 to 20 mA signal is required, the use of a transducer is recommended.
