The wet-dry sampler is designed to minimize evaporation of the collected sample and thus avoid fractionation.
This means that the collector works oil and glycol free.
This makes maintenance and cleaning of the collector easier and less frequent.
The RS1 collector consists of two cylinders with a diameter of 220 mm and 150 mm made of rigid PVC plastic. The outer cylinder is coated with silver paint and transparent varnish. The inner cylinder accommodates the 1-liter or 3-liter collection bottle. Thermal insulation for the plastic bottle is achieved by the use of a double container with a hollow wall. The collection bottle is easily accessible from below and can be easily replaced. The funnel is equipped with a removable stainless steel mesh.
The RS1 collector has a bird protection system to reduce contamination from bird droppings.
