For the electrical transmission of absolute atmospheric air pressure. Designed with a piezoresistive sensor element, it features a voltage output, compact dimensions, low weight, and extremely low power consumption. Design and operation: The prevailing absolute pressure is measured in analog form by electronics connected downstream of the piezoresistive sensor, digitally compensated, and proportionally converted into a standardized electrical output value. The die-cast aluminum housing is powder-coated and splash-proof. It protects the circuitry from the elements and offers good EMC properties.
The main features of the Electronic Air Pressure Sensor FI 05 are:
- Linearity < ± 0.5 hPa
- Temperature range -35...70 °C
- Temperature error max. ±0.5 hPa (-20...+50 °C)
- Temperature hysteresis < 0.2 hPa
- Response time < 10 s Current consumption max. 20 mA
- Integrated overvoltage protection, two-wire technology
