The central system elements of the SAS-307 snow and backwater alarm system are the three measuring stations and the central evaluation electronics in a control cabinet with integrated display and operating screen
The three measuring stations
are installed at any or selected positions on the flat roof. This makes the system three times safer than if the load were measured at only a single point. We attach great importance to reliable safety.
Each measuring station, in turn, contains three special sensors and specific electronics to transmit the measured values to the evaluation electronics in the control cabinet.
The central evaluation electronics
in the control cabinet is controlled by software developed by tbm and contains numerous monitoring mechanisms that we know from 20 years of experience in safety technology.
The SAS-307 snow and backwater alarm system is fully digitalized and offers the following features :
· Measuring range: 10 … 750 kg/m²
· Measurement accuracy: +/- 2% of the max. load
· Easy assembly
· Numerous alarm options
· Remote query (optional)
According to the approval authority for building products in Berlin (Building Technical Testing Office), no building authority approval is required for the snow and backwater alarm system.
Assembly
The SAS-307 snow and backwater alarm system is particularly easy to install, making it ideal for retrofitting or roof renovations.
Ideally, the three measuring stations are mounted directly on the roof using a special mounting plate. These are then connected to the central control cabinet via simple plug-in contacts and pre-assembled connecting cables. Connect the control cabinet to the power outlet, set the thresholds for the pre-alarm and evacuation alarm, and you're done.
Position marker
When installing the measuring stations on the roof as recommended, a practical position marker in the form of a 1 m high rod ensures the required pressure equalization of the sensors and electronics in a measuring station. This position indicator serves as an important reminder to the snow clearing crew that high-quality electronics are located at this location and that caution is advised when clearing snow.
