Thanks to three temperature sensors and a soil moisture sensor, the TMS-4 data loggers offer an excellent way to measure air and soil temperature, as well as soil moisture. The high-capacity lithium battery has a lifespan of approximately 10 years. Combined with the large memory, which can record 524,288 data points, each TMS logger can operate autonomously and requires minimal maintenance. All this, combined with the exceptionally low price and robust construction, enables long-term measurements in a wide variety of applications under harsh conditions.
The TMS4 Long is a modified version of the TMS Standard. The data logger measures temperature at three different heights and also determines soil moisture. The device is installed in the soil. A temperature sensor is located directly above soil level. The data logger is primarily used to measure soil moisture and temperature at depths of -6, +2, +20, 30, and 45 cm.
The length of the housing with the 3rd measuring point can be individually configured in lengths of +20, 30 and 45 cm.
