Thanks to three temperature sensors and a soil moisture sensor, the TMS-4 data loggers offer an excellent way to measure air and soil temperature, as well as soil moisture. The high-capacity lithium battery has a lifespan of approximately 10 years. Combined with the large memory, which can record 524,288 data points, each TMS logger can operate autonomously and requires minimal maintenance. All this, combined with the exceptionally low price and robust construction, enables long-term measurements in a wide variety of applications under harsh conditions.
The TMS External (TMS Buriable) data logger measures soil temperature and soil moisture at three different depths. The device is installed in the soil along with the sensors. A temperature sensor, the battery, and the interface for data readout are located directly above ground level. The data logger is primarily used to measure soil moisture and temperature at depths of -50 cm, -100 cm, and -200 cm.
