Thanks to three temperature sensors and a soil moisture sensor, the TMS-4 data loggers offer an excellent way to measure air and soil temperature, as well as soil moisture. The high-capacity lithium battery has a lifespan of approximately 10 years. Combined with the large memory, which can record 524,288 data points, each TMS logger can operate autonomously and requires minimal maintenance. The data logger measures the temperature at three different heights and also determines soil moisture. The device is installed in the soil. A temperature sensor is located directly above soil level. The data logger is primarily used to measure soil moisture and temperature at depths of -6, +2, and +15 cm.
