The hut psychrometer thermometer serves as a "dry" or "wet" thermometer for determining relative humidity and other moisture content in the weather hut. These thermometers are used to equip the hut psychrometers with natural or artificial ventilation after August.
The upper end of the thermometer is sealed and has a plastic cap.
