Collection: Net radiometer

Radiometers are used in scientific studies of energy balances and surface fluxes. Radiometers provide up to four separate measurements of global and reflected solar radiation, as well as rising and falling longwave radiation, with two sensors pointing upwards and two pointing downwards. The net radiation is derived from these four separate components. Two-component radiometers are also available, providing two separate measurements of solar and longwave radiation. Both products feature a modular design, are lightweight, and are easy to level, with a low solar offset when measuring longwave radiation. The unique ability to heat the pyrgeometer reduces measurement errors caused by dew formation.
