The company Hydrometeorological Instruments and Measuring Systems Dyrk Peters (HIM) was founded on June 1, 1992 in Potsdam by Dyrk Peters (Dipl.-Ing.(FH) for Meteorology) and Dr. Eginhard Peters.

HIM is a specialist provider in the field of meteorology, hydrology and aerology.

We offer sales, maintenance, and service for high-quality meteorological and hydrological measuring instruments. The products are designed for professional use, but are also suitable for interested laypeople.

HIM ’s product portfolio consists of 7 pillars:

1.      Sales of complete meteorological stations or parts thereof. We create and implement quotes and complete projects upon customer request, and we also take care of all maintenance work if required.

2.      Distribution of aerological consumables. HIM is the exclusive distributor of meteorological balloons from a well-known Japanese manufacturer in Europe.

3.      Production of OEM products The company HIM manufactures parts of conventional meteorological devices, such as psychrometers and ground angle thermometers, which are distributed worldwide by well-known German manufacturers.

4.       Production and exclusive distribution of our own industrial PC line for digital sensor software http://www.himcomp.net .

5.       OEM distribution of software including MDO software and energy data software in the new federal states.

6.       Exclusive distribution of particulate matter measurement technology from a German and Italian manufacturer

7.       Exclusive distributor of windsock stations for airports and helipads.
