Warranty conditions:

The manufacturer, Hydrometeorological Instruments and Measuring Systems, grants a 3-year warranty on the products advertised with the warranty promise. The warranty period begins on the invoice date. The manufacturer's warranty extends geographically to the Federal Republic of Germany. If material or manufacturing defects occur during this period, the manufacturer, as the guarantor, will provide one of the following services at its discretion:

- free repair of the goods or
- free exchange of the goods for an equivalent item (or a successor model if the original product is no longer available).

Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage to the goods caused by

- abusive or improper treatment
- Environmental influences (humidity, heat, overvoltage, dust, etc.)
- Failure to observe any safety precautions
- Failure to follow the operating instructions
- Use of violence (e.g. hitting, pushing, falling)
- unauthorized repair attempts
- normal wear and tear

A warranty claim requires that the guarantor be given the opportunity to examine the warranty claim by sending the goods in. Care must be taken to prevent damage during transport by using appropriate packaging.

To claim warranty service, you must enclose a copy of the original invoice with the shipment. Please understand that the manufacturer may refuse warranty service without this copy. The invoice copy is used to calculate the warranty period. You must also provide the name and address of the seller, unless this is clearly stated on the enclosed copy of the invoice.

If your warranty claim is justified, the warranty will be processed freight-free. Any shipping costs you incur will then be reimbursed by the guarantor.

A notice:

Your statutory rights against us arising from the purchase contract concluded with us are not limited in any way by this guarantee. In particular, any existing statutory warranty rights against us remain unaffected by this guarantee.

If the purchased item is defective, you can therefore always contact us within the framework of the statutory warranty, regardless of whether a warranty case exists or the warranty is claimed.
