Description:
The u[sonic]WS7 weather sensor is a sensor from the WS product family, a range of professional measuring transducers with a digital interface for environmental applications. The intelligent weather sensor is used to measure air temperature, relative humidity, radiation, air pressure, wind direction, and wind speed. The dew point is calculated. Relative humidity is measured using a capacitive sensor element, and air temperature is measured using a precise NTC measuring element. A thermopile is used to determine global radiation . Wind is measured using ultrasonic sensors. The measured data output supports the following protocols: NMEA-0183, ASCII, SDI-12, and MODBUS. An external temperature or precipitation sensor can be connected.
