Application
For flow measurement in low-pressure applications, such as ventilation systems, low-pressure gas lines, in special cases also for liquid measurements.
Installation lengths
Pitot tubes and cylindrical probes can be supplied in lengths up to 3000 mm. We recommend supporting the tubes on site for lengths of 1500 mm and above. See the table below for lengths and item numbers. The nominal length (NL) should be at least half the inner pipe diameter.
Execution
Pitot tube according to Prandtl with curved angled head, hemispherical probe tip; probe coefficient according to Prof. Dr. Ludwig Prandtl = 1. Cylindrical probe according to VDEH in accordance with guideline SEB 384 700 in straight design (therefore very easy to install), probe coefficient = 1.7.
Pitot tubes and cylindrical probes are available in various diameters and are typically made of stainless steel. Connections are hose nozzles in the same diameter as the Pitot tubes.
