The GIRA Plus is designed for use in building automation. It records the following measured variables:
The interface to the device is digital and consists of an RS485 interface. Together with ID-based communication, this interface enables the weather station to be operated in a bus.
The device has a GPS receiver. This is used to determine position and time, and also calculates the position of the sun.
