The combined ultrasonic sensor V200A is used for the precise and maintenance-free measurement of the wind speed and the wind direction, as well as the calculation of the acoustic virtual temperature. The ultrasonic measuring principle works in contrast to conventional anemometers without mechanical parts susceptible to wear. The serial or analog output of the data takes place either as instantaneous value, mean value (arithmetic or vector) or min / max value with variable measuring rate. If necessary, the device is automatically heated at critical ambient temperatures. The device is particularly suitable for meteorology or building automation. The following outputs / protocols are available: NMEA, ASCII, UMB and 4 .. 20 mA analog.
