Precipitation pan

A precipitation pan used to collect rain on the surface. It is embedded for this purpose in the floor. To avoid splash the top edge along the ground also rackt.

To reduce the evaporation the bath has a cover.

The precipitation bath is composed of:

• 1 bath,
• 1 receiving hopper,
• 1 collecting can and
• 1 cover

  The collecting area is 3,000 cm²

  The precipitation bath is made of hot galvanized, 2.0 mm thick sheet steel.

The wind error of precipitation measurement is minmiert in this process. To reduce the evaporation error eien Glycolmischung is generally used. Nevertheless, it is recommended to determine air temperature and wind run as correction values.

When using the precipitation trough a grid for protection against animals is recommended.
