The atmospheric precipitation is collected in vessels using the Bergerhoff dust measuring device. Subsequently, the bulk sample is evaporated and the evaporation residue is determined gravimetrically. The sampling device consists of:
1 collecting vessel and
1 stand with protective cage.
1 wide neck bottle with accessories
A standard wide-mouth round can made of HDPE (DIN 120) - 1.5 l is used as a collecting vessel. The vessel is in a similarly manufactured wire basket, which acts as a bird protection by a funnel-shaped extension at the top.
The basket of the meter has a Rilasan coating to prevent heavy metal contamination resulting from the material of the basket.
Material:
The standard device is made of galvanized or rilasan coated steel. The stainless steel version of the dust measuring device according to Bergerhoff consists entirely of the alloy 14571.
The main features of the Bergerhoff dust measuring device are:
- Low maintenance
- Determination of the dust content of the precipitate (damp disposition)
- good value for money
- quantitative collection
- Rilasan coating to avoid heavy metal contamination
- Stainless steel version is resistant to aggressive environmental influences, such as Salts.
