The wet-dry collector is designed to minimize evaporation of the collected sample, thus avoiding fractionation.

This means that the collector is oil and glycol free.

This makes maintenance and cleaning of the collector easier and less frequent.

The RS1 collector consists of two cylinders with diameters (220mm and 150mm) made of PVC hard plastic. The outer cylinder is covered with silver paint and transparent varnish. The inner cylinder is used to hold the 6-liter or 10-liter collection bottle. The thermal insulation for the plastic bottle, is achieved by using a double container with a fetch wall. The collection bottle is easily accessible from the bottom and can be easily replaced. The hopper is equipped with a removable stainless steel net.

The RS1 collector has a bird guard to reduce contamination by bird droppings.
