is our patented, unique, self-emptying single-bucket tipping scale. The tipping bucket is one of the most accurate rain sensor gauges on the market. Using this technology offers several advantages:

2.How does the tilting bucket technology work?
Precipitation is measured using a funnel that directs the water into the individual, self-draining POM tilting bucket. A hard ferrite magnet holds the bucket in position.
The magnet always applies just enough tension to empty the measuring spoon in one quick movement (less than 300 ms) and then return to its normal position, ready to collect more precipitation. This means that, unlike other conventional two-spoon rain gauges, the counterweight always remains the same.
